York, NY: Meredith Hamler, who once lived a life of
homelessness and drugs, today lives his life as a messenger
of workshops and seminars, and he does this through
Nubian Voices, a speaker’s bureau component he founded
two years ago, representing African Americans and Latinos
who share their successful life experiences with urban
youths and the homeless population. He currently completed
a contract with a local homeless shelter and picked up a
renewal contract due to the overwhelming success of the
program.
Meredith has come a long way… Meredith Hamler is a law
school graduate, and assistant editor of the New Tomorrow
(TNT), a monthly publication of Nubian Voices that features
positive information and promotes positive role models, and
featuring many of the speakers represented by the speakers’
